I’m going on Erasmus in the second semester, so I’m subletting my student room from February until the end of August (or June). The room has a private bathroom, kitchen, and small terrace, as well as access to a shared kitchen and a communal garden.

The location is perfect; very close to the Oude Markt, the Grote Markt, shops, and more, but without any noise disturbance. The room has large windows and faces south, so it gets lots of sunlight throughout the day.

There’s also a lofted bed, which nicely separates the sleeping and living area.

Please note that the toilet is not private; you share two toilets with only six other people. However, everything is kept very clean, as a cleaning lady comes every week to maintain the shared spaces.
